About Macon R.E.I.A.

Our Origin:

A while back a small group of real estate investors in the Macon area knew there had to be a better way to network with fellow investors without feeling like we were being "taken" by some unscrupulous and predatory "real estate operators" in our area. We shared similar stories about what it was like to get started as real estate investors and how it seemed we couldn't trust anyone to help us get quality real estate investment information. The closest club meeting was almost 2 hours away in Atlanta and was really nothing more than one, big sales pitch month after month.

I had been investing in the middle Georgia area for almost 5 years and while there were other seasoned investors here, no one seemed to care enough to take the time to try and form a group. My other investor friends and I just felt like there was no existing investor group or club that was addressing our needs for quality, integrity, and honesty in dealing with beginning and experienced real estate investors. I decided to change this situation and form a group of like-minded investors--and thus created the Macon Real Estate Investors Association.
